license test tips???
I know i may get some grief for being the yound guy here, but i get my license soon (aug 10) and i was wanting some tips. Ive been dreaming of driving ever since i got my first toy car and played with toy cars and tractor trailers for hours as a child. but now i have my ranger and my hot rod. I have been driving on country roads since i was about 9 and drivin fourwheelers since then as well. i got my permit a few days after my 15 birthday and anytime im in a car i drive. i can back a trailer up for blocks(literally). and ive driven in rain snow bumper to bumper traffic you name it. but im wanting some tips about my test. you all have done it, some more recently then others, but my plan is:
1. stay at least 3-4 mph under speed limit.(more pending traffic)
2. i know to signal and which ways to turn to look
3. i parralel park every day(too many cars in the driveway)
sorry about the lengthy post.

no sorry's man... its all good
the test isnt as hard as it ever sounds. just stay cool and dont think of it as such a big deal and you'll pass with flying colors. get all nervous and stuff and thats when you start getn shaky and start forgeting things.
stay cool and if youve been behind the wheel like you say you've been.. you've got it passed
good luck!

I just had to three point park. Drive a mile around a neighborhood and I was done. It's so easy. My drivers ed teacher at school took all the kids to the DMV place if they wanted early on a sunday morning so we could do the exact test except it didn't count. Next day went in, I did the same thing I did the day before and passed with a 100% on my test.

Wow, it seems like my test was forever ago....Its really easy, i went when it was like 100 degrees out and my insructor threw the clip board in the back seat and laid there told me what ways to turn, and i aced it....
Deff dont stay 3-4 mph under the speed limit though because if you get a douche as your instructor he will mark points off for going under the speed limit....
Same thing as when i just got my motorcycle endorsement, everyone else was getting points takin off for going to slow....i got in trouble for going to fast, lmao...

I ended up driving for almost half an hour, it was almost 100 degrees out and I had the air cranked in my car.
Definitly stay as close to the speed limit, one of my friends lost points for going 5 under then 5 over in the same test, hes gotta be the worst driver I know.
Just be cool and take it slow... good luck man..

Its pretty simple. Over time many of us build up bad habits in driving that are more comfortable for us (1 hand on the wheel is my biggest, I havent used 2 hands since I got done with my test 15 years ago) You probably havent had time to pick up bad habits, but if you have, forget them, at least for the test.

Don't worry about the test. There's a lot of nervousness, but you'll get over it.
