How would this sound?

Thought about replacing the muffler on my Thunderbolt system with something like this vs. my first idea of running no muffler.

Race Muffler

it's not a glasspack....it's a race muffler that looks like one. I don't know.... am I the only one thats never happy with stuff, always messing with things just for the sake of doing it? My wife hates it......LOL. She will learn someday.

It'd probably be loud and droning but it just depends what you are looking for.

i think it'll sound like crap honestly. i used to have a 3.0 and i put a flowmaster delta 40 series and i thought it sounded great. deep, throaty, and mean, but not too loud. but it all depends on what you want it to sound like.

I don't know, I bet no one has tried something like it. I can't imagine it would be much quieter then I straight pipe, not much to it at 12" long.

I might give it a try. If it sucks I'm out $50, I have the y-pipe already sitting on the workbench.

I think it woudl sounds just like a Glasspack/cherry bomb....Had one on my 3.7 ltr dodge. Sounded like Poopy
