Hah you totally are.

Still though, I think that the people on this site who switched to another truck and then won't stop ****ing posting about their ******y 2wd crap...hmm who am i talking about? Yah, I don't visit here to hear about how cool their godawful truck with huge gay fender flares is.

Anyways, All of the toyota lovers are usually just people who own lower model rangers that test drive the best toyota. I've driven both vehicles, I think they're the same. Except on cost.

But none the less, it's only an opinion. If you drive Toyota you hate america! hah!

You have to remember this, when it comes right down to it everything breaks. Neither one will break less then the other. Its just a matter of time in my books.

If you like Ford great, if you like toyota great or someone else, fine. It all comes down to what YOU like, and what you chose at the time of buying your truck. I didn't worry about what others would think when I bought my truck, because they're not the ones driving it every day, so if other people dont like my Ranger; fine thats their deceision.

THAT is exactly how I look at it...If I like the car/truck then I will buy it...no matter the badge on the front (Or where it's made/owned). To ONLY buy a vehicle because of the maker just doesn't make sense anymore.

My opinion is that Ford NEEDS to get with the program, or they will continue to be left in the dust...one customer at a time.

Hey Bullpar, If U Dont Like Ur Ranger Then Get Rid Of It. Its Common Sense, Dont Come On A Site Where Every1 Loves Their Ranger And Start B****in About Them. All Things Break And Some Break More Than Others. If U Like The Foreign Pieces Of S**t Then Go Get One And Get Rid Of Ur Ranger And Get Off The Site. No One Wants U Here.

I love my truck, I love Ford, that is all I really like to drive, but that does not mean I leave other companies out or am not interested in them.

I like the tacoma, never drove one or even sat in one, just love the style and looks, features etc. if other people like them I am not going to dog them or get all over them, its their choice.

On the other hand it does get old when we are on this ranger site and so many non-ranger owners post but hey maybe we can talk them into buying another ranger later, who knows.

I don't mind that other ford ranger guys post on this site, but I really am not interested in their trucks. They get one thread to show it, blah blah, if they lift it seven feet they can show pics. I don't want to see every lame mod, every lame video, lame pics. Unless there's some rangers in those pics too of course!

BUY WANT EVER YOU WANT TO BUY. This is America, greatest country on the planet. we have the freedom to spend our hard earned money on what ever we see fit. just be happy with what you bought

I bought my Ranger cause out of what I test drove it was the one I liked the best, I drove a 98 4cyl Nissan Frontier, 00 4cyl Chevy S10 (what the hell was I thinking), I would've looked at a Toyota but there werent any in my area in my price range that did'nt have 150K miles on them. I'm planning and saving to buy a new truck in 2010. My preference will be Ford. but if they kill the Ranger. then I'll have no choice but to look elsewhere. becouse I don't want an F150, thats too big for what I use a truck for.

I will not buy Chinese produced cars and trucks over here. China has taken away alot more American Jobs then Japan has.

Okay, well, then the ford dealers in 3 states all suck. ****ty customer service, high prices. AND when I try and call ford itself, they don't care about a Ranger owner.

By the way Zach :

You're: You are

http://www.wikihow.com/Use-You're-and-Your

In addition, Ford hasn't done crap for Ranger owners. If one person from ford cared about sales, they would reach out to the customer and try to improve the products.

VW was lacking in sales, listened to the customers...and what happened? they are doing well now.

Ford needs to wake up. I like my truck, but I don't care what kind of badge it has.

I owned a GMC:hated it. So, I tried Ford. I would consider buying another. HOWEVER, I will also look at other manufacturers to find my next truck.

Jeez, you're (see how I used you're correctly?) about as moody as the "rebel" yan-kee haters on the board.

I never really wanted a full size, this was my favorite, the S-10s just didn't look good neither did the import trucks this size... I remember when I was 13-14 and rode in a 01+ Ford Ranger EDGE with the all black interior, I was like wow!!! when I get my license I want one of these, and look now! lol got me a lil ranger of my own :-) call me crazy I don't care

If it ain't broke why fix it? just think one day, it'll be nice because we can always find parts, try that in these other lil trucks that change every 2 years...

I dont think the ranger needs a V8 from the factory either.

If Ford wants to succeed they need to do things different than the other brands. that will make them stand out.

I like my 3.o fine, I remember when I had my 4cyl I wanted anything other then my lima 2.3L... yeah I agree with both Zachs, the V8 in this small of a truck would just not be a good idea... goes back to the "if it aint broke dont fix it," idea... the 4.0L has been fine since the late 80s

I liked my dad's F-150 and after driving it and being on this site for a little while I couldn't resist buying a Ranger. His 99' F-150 has 90k and nothing has gone wrong with it except when it was new it went through 3 air compressors but other than that just normal wear and tear. My Ranger is only at 28k and it hasn't had one problem yet. I love getting in it, driving it around town. It's got plenty of power with the 4.0. It kicks *** in 4x4 and I love it!! My gas mileage is fine 17mpg mixed city/highway and highway only is around 20mpg. There are lemons with every brand. If you buy a used truck that has some mileage built up on it don't expect it to run like new. It's all about maintance. If the owner before didn't give a **** about the truck and made it look pretty for you to buy and now you buy it and complain is it Fords fault? Do regular maintance take care of it and it will take care of you. Ford is my favorite brand of trucks and will be for a long time. I just hope they don't go under. I want to say my next truck will be a Ford but in 10 years nobody knows what the companies will be doing and which ones will still be #1 and which ones went under. I love my Ford Ranger and that is why I'm part of this great site!!

Hey, you work for Ford so I'll keep it brief, look at the SHO, engine is a Yamaha, so if you wanna look at it in some way relating the 2 company's, there's your excuse!

I love my Fords. I have 2 of them, and I'm coming from driving Dodge prior. I'll never go back to a Dodge. I'll take an Escrat before another Dodge.

I 4-wheel with a couple of Toyota owners, have a lot of respect for them as people, love what they have done to their Toyota's, but hate the trucks. The vast majority of the people I wheel with have Fords, 90% are Rangers, and all of us love them. Shoot, I'll quote Rich when he didn't make the line on Chinaman- "well bummer, I guess its time to upgrade to 35's" not a "my ranger sucks, I'm gunna build a toyota"

Ford's are build right, with the exception of a few. My old Bronco has had a rough life, 3 owners, 2 of which well no, all 3 have beat the living hell out of it. The first owner drove it to California with a 35' boat behind it 6-7 times a summer for 10 summers, drove round trip 140 miles a day to work, then sold it to the guy I bought it from, who used it as a DD and a hunting truck... it was also his first car, so he drove it hard.... then I bought it, drive it hard, wheel it hard, beat the **** out of it and lo and behold, it runs amazing and has 255,000 miles on it. Point is, tell me that a Toyota is better than my Bronco in lifetime?

My 02 Ranger has 147,000 on it, runs like a brand new truck, will easily pass the Bronco up.... so much for the Jap rep being so good huh?
