I got a new axle

Its an Explorer 31-spline 8.8" with disc brakes.

I know it aint pretty but still, I'm happy.

Ahh man.. take your time, clean it up.. rebuild as needed, and you'll make 75% of us immediately jealous of you.. hell, I already am! :-D

Damn. I want one!! I would only match the 4.10s in my front diff and throw in a Eaton E locker in it too.

NICE! I should be getting mine here pretty soon. I hope to find a 4.10 that way i can just throw it in and worry about the gear change later.....but....oh wells. Nice man. Can't wait to see the install pics!

I can't wait till I rebuild this thing and get it in. And the "Deathmower", it does run like a top... When it gets another starter...

Yea, that dont seem to work on this one, idk why though. So I take it I did good on the axle?

Its definitely an open 3.55. and yesterday I got it all torn down to start cleaning it up. I straightened out the backing plates and painted the calipers. Anyone on R-F in Indiana wanna help me set up the R&P?
