ok so i have a 98 tj with every thing done to it just needs tires..

but i need a truck more then a toy right now so i put it for sale and got some offers but the 2 that i like are .. i sell the jeep and buy this truck and have $500 to spend... ... 97 mazda b 4000 5 speed, 3" lift ,175000km and it has brand new 33" mtrs (it my buddys truck it has only been in the bush once)


or this 98 as is auto 175000km 33s, 3" lift.

 

the 98 would be cool if it wasnt beat to hell riding on 93 rims ... i say go for the 97 if you trust your buddy and know he maintained it good

edit: oh and gas mileage may be slightly better in one of these trucks but not by much esp on 33s with no regear

 

97 all the way, you get the TTB which is so much better for playing.

the 98 will be better for resale though since it is an actual ford, newer and auto, so if you plan on selling it any time soon you may want to consider that one only for resale.

oh, and what does "everything done to it" mean? So it has 2.5t rockwells, 54 boggers lockers, nos, 460 .... sorry to taunt but be a little more specific if you are gonna say something like that. not trying to be an a$$ just curious.

 

didnt think of that either ... i just like the front ends on the 98+ mazdas better but i actually almost bought a 97 if it didnt sell before i found mine

 

if your trusting in your buddy than the maz... but im a fan of getting an unmollestd truck so you know your dialed. gettin someone esle's project is a bummer if its a hack job
