Full Size Mod...
Well.... I now have a full size sitting in my driveway...
And it has a bowtie....
But it's not a truck:
It's a full-size car.
And thankfully, it's not mine to keep. The Ranger went into the body shop to get repainted after our big windstorm caused $1800 damage to it.

I'm really excited to get my truck back - can't say that I enjoy the Impala. At all. Sure, it is quicker than my 4-banger pickup, and it gets surprisingly good gas mileage (24ish around town), and it's roomy. But - it has the most god-awful seats I've ever sat in. The seating position, regardless of how you move the seat around, makes you feel like you're sitting in a bathtub because the doors are so high up, and it's just not a fun car to drive.
Admittedly, it IS light-years better than the '03 Malibu I got the last two times I had a vehicle repainted. Too bad the Cheby dealer has the best body shop in town, I'd like a Fusion as a loaner.
But - I've only driven a truck since April 1 when I bought mine -- I had driven compact cars (or my wife's small SUV) for all my vehicles before that. I am sold on the Ranger, I really miss my truck.

Unfortunately, they're all GM. But, hey - it's a free ride, and my truck will look as good as it did the day it rolled off the line in St. Paul.... so, I can't complain.
