NONE suspension lift question

This actually is a BL question: Why do a lot of people run a 3in BL with add-a-leafs, and shackles??

Wouldnt that make the rear sit higher, thats why i cranked my bars to leverl her out??

I know for 33's, thats obvious

Yea.

My truck sat level(front to back) without the bodylift, and just cranked bars and on 32's. So did it when I put the BL on w/ 32's....and with 35's.

Yeah that has nothing to do with it...

Doesn't change angels of anything... It only lifts the body off the frame.

Exactly, I tell people that all the time. Your causing the problem for the reason why you cranked the t-bars in the first place.

What are you talking about trent??

Shane, I just mean a regualr 3in BL will clear 33s, so why do people need to run adds and shackles, i dont see why...It seems the azz will be sticking up higher right???

Go on....

I hate the raked look, especially when the truck is lifted. Level is best, or a slight dog. I just wish there was a non T-Bar option for my truck that didnt cost thousands.

I know some people put the aal in the rear after they crank their tbars...this essentially makes the truck ~2" higher "all the way around".

I never had a problem sitting level, I am about 1" higher in the rear, but loaded up I'm 1" lower :( (I don't mind bulldog though, it's nice driving it, tows better)

So if you want level, just BL and crank tbars...if you tow or haul heavy loads...I'd go with an AAL in addition to the tbar crank so that your not sagging like crazy with a load.

If you tow or haul much I'd think about getting an airbag assist kit if they make one for the ranger.

My dad put one on his silverado, it tows 100% better. Short of hindered acceleration, our 19' deck boat doesnt even feel like it is back there. 24' RV is stable even at 70mph.

I dun it cuz i like a little rake. A think mine is like 2" higher in the back. The aals help for pulling the trailer when i do. It also add piece of mind when flexing. I really won't have to worry about chunking glass. Helps clear 35's too.
