Leaf spring broke

My passenger side leaf spring broke. Who's got a cheap but good way to replace them? WHat springs are needed to give it a little lift?

Thanks

Junkyard run? Maybe find some ranger springs. Explorer springs give about 2 inches of lift.

You might have already known that though.

Thanks for the response guys.

Are Explorer springs a direct bolt in? Also, Is this something I could do with basic tools in my driveway? If so, what steps do I need to follow?

Yes, Maybe.
These:
Spray everything down with PB-blaster or your penetrating grease of choice.
you'll need a socket set. Metric i think.
Anyways. work one side at a time. you need to take the Shackle bolts, U-bolts, and Shock off to let the truck and axle relax.
remove the old spring and stuff the new one in. reverse procedure.

Sweet.

Last question:
What year Expo leafs do I need to get? I might buy 'em brand new instead of a JY run if they're gonna give me about a 2" lift.

Hey, chk the rear spring hangers while you are at it !

Always seem to rot out in the Northeast.

When I took it to the local leaf spring maker, they climbed underneath and said that the hangers were in good shape.
