I agree, the benefit over a ranger or a BII is they are all 4.0's When I was building my Plow truck I wanted a 4.0 Ranger and I just couldn't find one for cheap. I ended up with an $800 manual hub, manual tranny, manual 4x4 (twin stick) explorer that ran like a champ. I did have to put a slave and a clutch in it about a month later. But the closest ranger I could find was 3K+.
