How much should i ask for my truck?

Burgundy, 04 FX4 ext cab, stepside, pre runner front bumper, tinted tails and windows, 285/75/16 BFG A/T's, fully loaded, cracked windshield, 79,248 miles, slightly bent rear bumper, and towing package. No problems other than the cracked windshield, the truck looks great!

Some honest opinions would be great! thanks!

dealer is going to peobly going to give you 10 are 11 for it also it all depends on how many miles is on the truck and how well the body and paint looks the better the truck looks the better price you will get. this might be the same in other states too but down here they dont give extra for mods it accualy declines value of the truck.

79k is low miles. The truck looks good. It's not that old. If the dealer was going to give you 9 I would take that and run, because if I was buying privately and seeing it's been modified and needs a little bit of work, I would low ball you around 5-7k. I don't like buying vehicles with modifications.

5-7 grand for an 04 ext cab FX4 with low miles?!?!?! ur crazy dude! i mean obviously if you could find someone dumb enough to sell one for that more power to you. as for mods it has a bumper, bigger tires, some tint and color matched interior pieces. what kind of work does my truck need? cuz i drive it everyday n dont think it needs anything

Agreed! If they are offering you 9 on trade in that is honestly probably a good price right now, unless they are bending you over on the other car you're buying (likely). Otherwise it's a mostly clean rig, not "too" modified, but even with a bumper and stuff it can be hard to sell a rig unless the right person comes along.

Don't, under any circumstance, trade a car in to a dealer. You'd be better off putting it on EBAY.

If they give you 10-11k I'd take it.

Trust me it can be hard to sell a truck for 11k+ right now. Especially since yours is modified.

Yes it is a great looking truck. But if you're looking for a normal everyday person that wants a truck, they aren't going to be attracted to yours.

my friend just bought a 2004 xlt xtra cab 2wd stepside and the dealer wanted 11,100 and he got it for 8,900...other wise the dealer was gonna have to auction it.
