I have a friend that lives in the Nashville area that is having car trouble. She has a cyl #4 misfire code and the CEL is blinking. Im looking for someone who can install plugs and wires in her 4 cyl Jetta and posibly continue to diagnose the misfire. Obviously i dont expect this to be for free, shes a good friend of mine and has been for a long time. i ususally do all the maintenance on her car. Thanks Guys!

Yeah thats kind of the last resort. The local VW dealership told her that it will be $98 to diag and 3 hours to do plugs and wires at $98/hour so i was trying to find her something a little better. Also, the mom and pop garages around there dont want to work on it.

I have worked on RF members truck as they passed through Michigan before. One guy PM'ed me that his dad was driving his truck in MI and had a problem so he came by and i looked at it for him and fixed it. Just seeing if anyone in that area would be willing to do it.

 

3 hours for plugs on a jetta?! I did my buddies in 15 minutes! jesus

Holy crap no car takes an actual 3 hours to do plugs especially a 4cyl. The Tune up might help the miss miss fire.

yeah plugs and wires first, then if that doesnt fix it. compression test, injector etc

Oh gotcha. Yeah that is crazy I wasn't thinking it would be nearly that much!
