Icon4 Brakes and suspension help

Stopped into the dealership that I just bought my 2011 ranger. Truck has just hit 2000km and Im having the following issues.

Rear brakes squeal during first few km's each day. Sometimes if the truck sits for 2-4 hours it will happen again.
The head mechanic told me this is normal and it will continue for the life of the vehicle. I said that was BS and that it's not acceptable each morning at 5am I get to wake up my neighbors as I back out of my driveway. He then said even if we were to change the pads it will continue.

Ideas?

Next issue is a rattle/sqeek noise over small bumps. It's sounds likes something is loose but he was unable to think of what it could be. It appears to be all four tires but I'm not sure. My wife thinks its just the rear right tire area but I can hear it on the drivers side.

Ideas?

Thanks in advance

Get yourself some caliper grease and apply grease to the slide pins and the backs of each brake pad. Should stop your squeak.

I have heard of this on the 2011s and we have had people come in and complain. The got a rear brake job under warranty. Go to another dealer. Or if you would like to do it your self get some EBC Green Stuff Pads and some quality rotors. EBC brakes are a great improvement over stock even more considering you have 4 wheel discs

First item, brakes shouldn't be making noise. Either turn up the heat on them or take it to a new dealer. Item two, you need to do a better job of isolating/pinpointing where the noise is coming from as there are literally hundreds of possible places that could have an issue. Plus, it's virtually impossible to help if we, or they have no clues. If you go to a dealer and tell them there is a squeak/rattle but offer no area/location for them to focus on, they will go for a drive and see if it occurs. If it makes noise and they can pinpoint it, they will probably fix it, but if it doesn't and this will most likely be the case as of now, you will pick it up, the repair invoice will say "couldn't replicate problem". Do your best to give the guys something to work with, it'll help both you and them.

*I have noticed that on severe bumps/potholes, that the rear brake cables will slap against the leaf spring. You *could* be hearing this, but them again you've got discs and I haven't seen the cable routing, so maybe not. Maybe have a look and see if this is possible. Look for marks on the cable.
