Ignition/Starting problem

I've been having some troubles starting my truck recently. I turn the key and can hear a loud single "click" under the hood and another "click" when I released the key from the start position. I have to turn the key to start over and over again and before it will fire up. Once it does work properly, the truck fires right up and runs great (aka battery is fine). It used to do it maybe once a week and would always fire up on the 2nd or 3rd try. But this past week its been brutal. Every single time I get in the truck, I'm having to turn the key 15+ times before it will engage and turn the truck over.

Today I couldn't get it to turn over for the life of me. I made a quick and cheesy video so you guys can see what's happening.

Since the truck fires up perfectly, I'm thinking starter and battery are fine?

Anyone?

poor connection, bad neutral safety switch, bad relay?? get a volt meter or 12v light and start testing connections.
first step. go under the truck with the voltmeter/test light and touch the smaller wire thats running to the starter. have a friend turn the key.
If it lights up everything up to that point is doing its job and its the starter thats bad. if it doesnt gotta trace back and test ignition switch, find the starter relay, find the neutral safety switch.

Fixed it today. It was the starter solenoid. The sound I was hearing was the starter solenoid clicking, so I knew the ignition cylinder was sending signal to it. I used a test light on the two large poles on the solenoid and saw that, even though the solenoid was clicking, it wasn't sending power through. The test light would only light on the top pole when I got lucky and the engine would start. All the other clicks clicks clicks gave me no lit light. $18.65 from Advanced Auto parts and 10 minute swap out.
