Ignition stuck in accessory mode
 

I have a 96 ranger manual, 2 days ago when i was leaving work my ignition switch would turn to start and off but it wouldn’t do anything, i replaced the ignition switch and the ignition disrupter, it starts now but now it won’t stop running when i switch it to the off position.

does anyone know what could be the problem?
it looks like something behind the ignition switch that’s moving around freely but i don’t know anything about ignitions.
