now that i seen the truck i dunno i would drop it personally i like dropped stepsides plus its got coils up front so id drop it and thro some 17-18 rims on there and for the snow lifting isnt really gonna help but tires def. will and a limited slip rear end would help but its your truck so do what you want and can afford

I turned 16 about a year and half ago and my parents got me a 99 2wd ranger
now i am 17 and have a little more driving experience under my belt (trust me u will have a wreck or hit something and have a few close calls ur first year or so) and im selling it to get a 4wd

I just threw on some 30x9.50 BFG A/T's and it made the 2wd look mean and sit higher w/o any lift
I mean if u lift a 2wd and go all out with tires and stuff u can still get stuck just as easy
kinda wasted money in my opinion

get a 4wd next year or so but if ur going just for looks and ur satisfied with ur truck now (color etc.) then lift it

as long as ur happy thats what counts

bagged

http://viewmorepics.myspace.com/inde...lbumId=1455923
not bagged

both 2wd. black one is an edge, mine(2nd link) is xlt.

of course i doubt you will want to spend the money for the suspension i have as the front suspension costs more than a full kit for everyone else haha

and now that i went through the thread and saw pics of the truck.. put a 5.0 motor in there, 4link the rear on coil overs, coil overs up front, shortened 9" and slicks and make it a drag truck hah

im assuming it will be ur dd, and if you've got snow in ur area...lowering it aint the best of choices....but if snow's not to big of an issue and ur dont mind being carefull on the street....def lower it.

not really I had no problem driving in the snow dropped 5/5

weight in the back a good set set of tires and knowing how to drive snow is not an issue.

and yes thats with my frame rails 3-4 inches off the ground. I still had no issue in 14+ inches of snow we got in feb 07 when it was my daily.

Unless you guys have actually driven a lowered truck in the snow you should not be giving input saying against it.

basically you can control the height you ride at

you can fill the bags with air thus lifting it or dump the air which will lower it to the ground which is all controlled by switches that control valves that go to each bag through airline.

you can do anything front up back down all down all up one side up one side down

it all on how many valves you run 4 valves will only do up and down go to 8 u can control each corner individually and usually presets.
