Dang guys, fancy new site

I havent been on at all lately i guess since i got my truck back from the shop a while back. Truck has been treating me well, but i really owe her some attention so ill be loitering around this place again. here is how she is sitting as of this morning (oh and sorry for the pics, but they are all i have right now)




a car wash is definitely in need

Soo much to do! i still have to regear from 3.73s but that can wait. I need new ball joints like a while ago, so i really need to replace the whole set. they appear to be factory parts so i will need to replace the whole upper arm. Ive just been putting it off. ive never done it before, but it looks like a *****. doable though.. and expensive!


I also took out my old pos alarm system. that was fun



ive been running without an alarm for a while now. im getting sick of opening my door with the key and i park in a pretty sketchy lot and don't like it sitting there helpless. after driving my brothers truck for a while i got hooked on remote start so thats a must. i really want one of these. and winter time is coming up



anyone have experience with the pats system? looks like its going to cost me 20 - 50 bucks more to bypass. i have a ton of extra keys, so hopefully i can use one of them.

speaking of my brothers truck, he came to visit.




I just need to save and do the balljoints ASAP. atleast i dont have to pay for allignments so that will save me a few bucks id need to drive all the way to houston to do it. which is a pain. ooh unless i can rope a fellow member into letting me use his driveway ** cough cough matt cough

oh and my registration expired on 12/08 haha. im still mad and boycotting paying that. two more months and i save myself 150 bucks! right? but i know its bad.

Welcome back. I just replaced my upper control arms with the balljoints with Moog and it was very easy, and I'm no mechanic.

well i guess no real good reason. i just think it is bull**** i had to pay taxes on a used vehicle. tax has already been payed on it. they also didnt believe me when i put down that i paid one grand for my truck.
