Hey I actually agree with you on a vehicle. lol
I don't like the front end a lot, the hood line is too high and the front end just needs beefed up a bit. The rest of the styling is a little more modern, but the side windows resemble Toyota some. Still, it isn't that bad. If it was squared off a little more I wouldn't mind it at all.

Clearly it still has a real frame, solid real axle, and separate cab/bed which sets it aside from the ridgeline/car BS.

It probably has a higher payload than my F150 does as a lot of other countries don't have 'full size' trucks so the Ranger has stronger suspension/drivetrain and higher payload often.

I dont mind it, remind me kinda of a frontier. Id drive it because im positive they will come out with a aftermarket fron tend hahaha

i'd love one, minus the roll bar. i always wanted a four door truck, but didn't want a tacoma. have no need for a full size, so a tacoma might be in my driveway eventually if ford doesn't build a four door compact.

really reminds me of a dakar truck

Masteratarms93 10-20-2010 09:24 AM

thats weird. its like the central and south America were always a generation behind. your 01-03 is our 98-00, your 04-05 is our 01-03

Ratz 10-20-2010 02:50 PM

I like it, its about time the Ranger got some modern lines, and a 4dr.

So you can go pick up three of your friends and they will have their own door while you cruise around town. Forget looks or the fact that it's butt ugly, impractical small bed or that all those door are so small. You'll be styling. (kids still say that?)

I don't know, I had a Sport Trac that 4 or 5 of us took all the time to go four wheeling, shooting, snowboarding, riding etc and we always had plenty of room for us in the cab, and plenty of room for gear in the 4' bed. With the tail gate down it was still 6' long and worked fine for lumber and sheets of plywood as well. It wasn't impractical at all.

looks like a edge, mixed with a tundra, mixed with a F150

Report: New Ford Ranger to spawn SUV variant — Autoblog

Masteratarms93 10-22-2010 06:13 PM

Now the world gets a Ford body-on-frame SUV w/ solid rear axle!! WTF!!

The only company that makes those anymore here is frikin' Jeep.

Everybody makes "crossovers" and has IRS. I HATE YOU FORD!!!

braincandie 10-28-2010 04:33 PM

I like it. I dont like the antenna placement though... but i think it looks good

JoshK 10-29-2010 05:53 AM

gibsondale 12-17-2010 12:56 AM
