They do that up here in Canuckland as well. It's always an adventure when the big trucks go screaming by and throw the chips everywhere. I already have a few paint chips on my front end and nice ding in the middle of the Ford oval on my grille. And I always seem to catch the road crews when they start first thing in the morning so I have all the strips of tar to drive over.

I really don't see the point to chip and seal. Always seems like most of the limestone ends up on the shoulders of the highways. Then again, I'm a teamster, not a civil engineer.

Cheers,
D.

If your brake a windshield or get serious stone chips on your vehicals paint, why cant you sue the county for damage to personal property? or maybe send them the repair bills for doing what they did?

it dont work that way here. Its kinda like drive at your own risk.

Only way to sue the country is pot holes or one of there trucks drops a big rock on you

Damn that sounds like a crappy deal, but look on the bright side I was informed about a week ago that they are going to be ripping up my road and blasting. I don't see the need to blast since they are just going to be replacing the sewer pipes, but oh well. Here's to hoping my house doesn't shift off the foundation.
