Installing auto mirror question

Installing auto mirror question
The metal part on the windshield is differnet then the end on the explorer auto mirror, so the mirror wont go on the windshield. what can I do about that???

Remove it and glue the right one on. You can get glue kits at auto parts stores.

With a heat gun, slowly and CAREFULLY. Take your time and do not overheat the glass.
