its been a **** great night...

oh well... atleast i gotta get my truck in the shop next week to install the gears...

so.. my day started nice bought some dot3 brake fluid in case i had the need the purge my clutch..

so i got to my girlfriends house and i had tu purge the hydraulic pump of my clutch (i dont know in the US but its hydraulic so i had no presure on my clutch pedal so i had to double even triple pump the clutch the get 1st gear in..) everything was going ok i opened a lil the purge **** a lil fluid came out bla bla bla.. everything was going ok. the girlfirend was doing what i told here to do then she told me that there was no presure what so ever on the clutch pedal. i was like.. oh ****... so i go back and check the **** when i grabbed it to get the cube in to open it again and purge it again it fell off..... the **** broke inside....

so i spended 30 min pumping the clutch pedal to see if i got any presure back.. nothing spended another 15 min pumping the clutch pedal with the hand till the end and it finally started giving preasure...

ok nice... moved the truck to let my mother in law park no biggie.. got inside and at 2 am when i was gona leav i felt no presure again.. of ****... si i opened the hood took the cap of the oil thingy of the clutch and the cap droped inside the engine and i had no flashlight.... (took it out the other day and forgot to put it back inside the truck) after 15 min foundit and took 5 min to grab it...... 5 min later i had presure back again after a few dozen pumps...

got home no prob just had to double pump ocacionally to get the gears in but no prob...

atleast the baby not letting me walk back home... yet... o well

atleast i had to take the truck to the shop on monday... damn....

/end rant.....

thats why i stopped working on things i know i havent worked on before at night. if its just tightnening a bolt for a leak or putting something on ive taken off, thats fine....but like swapping out a transfercase or something at night....i dont really wanna do lol

night work tends to end in fail for me...i just wake up earlier now when i wanna work on my truck lol

S*** happens for a reason. I agree with rstangboi, no work at night if you hadn't done it before. Me and my father in law spent a couple of hours trying to remove the tstat on my truck... we had only a small flashlight... and it was either the flash light pointing to where the tstat is or us removing the tstat housing... Then we lost one of the bolts... never worked on the truck at night...

And that's cool that your gf helps you with your truck...
