Charging the AC on a 99 2.5L
It's that time of year again here where it gets hot as *****.
I have one of these handy machines here in the warehouse:
http://www.robinair.com/products/detail.php?id=2371
I did a full evap and vaccum yesterday and ran into a bit of a dilema.
on the R134a tag under the hood, it calls for 1 lb and 14 oz. of R134a. I got about .6 lbs in there from an empty system and the pressure guage was at 3PSI.
Do I need to add the 1lb and 14oz and ignore the pressure gauge or is the 1 lb. 14oz. what it requires regaurdless of the system pressure?
Thanks!
