Well if it's electronic 4x4 get ready to do some wiring. If not you just need to cut a hole in the floor for the manual T-case shifter. The tranny and t-case should be a direct swap as long as you have the same engine. 2.9 right?

If the donor does not have the same wheelbase as you (if it is standard cab and you are extended cab) the driveshafts front and rear won't work. You need to find compatible ones. Or have them made.

I'm not sure if the 4x4 TTBs are a direct swap with the 4x2 TTBs. If they are it is going to be super easy. If not you will need to do some fabrication. I'm not familiar with TTB Rangers.

Good luck. You are in for a fun ride.

P.S. Don't forget that you front and rear diff gears have to match. If you have 3.55s out back and 3.73s up front you are going to have to rear gear to get them to match. Find out what each axle has.

If its an electric 4x4 I'd think about grabbing a manual T-case for when you do the swap.

like i said i'm assuming you have a 2.9 so the tranny and t-case isn't gonna work.

same goes for the driveshafts.

you will have to ask someone else about the TTBs.

and like i said about the electronic 4x4. good luck wit dat.

no. not really. the universal stuff will work and you can use the t-case if you don't mind rewiring for the electronic but the transmission is for a different engine so the bellhousing won't work. it might not even be the same transmission. i have no idea. check out the ranger station's tech library. looks some stuff up. get some knowledge and post what you know on there and someone will help you out. they have a lot more older trucks over there.
