INTERNAL MASTER CYLINDER FAILURE - so how many others have had this problem?

i have had this happen just after acclerating like you did where it seemed the brakes didnt work. LUckily no one was around. and i down shifted to slow down. and looked down at the petal that was pushed down because the floor mat had slidden over it and was holding it down lol.

unfortunately I can't blame the floor mat, Dale, I don't have floor mats. I hate them. I couldn't think fast enough to have down shifted, but I have an automatic, so downshifting is never on my priority list...

I've got my case reported to my insurance and Ford, so I'm hoping by this time next week I should know something. The body shop already has my truck - they came and got it today. And my rings are in the process of being repaired. I'm going to do my best to convince Ford to buy back my truck, b/c honestly, I'm done w/ the Ranger. This is the second ****ty thing to happen to my truck, not counting the transmission fluid recall...and I shouldn't have to keep reminding them this is a BRAND NEW truck...
