it shuts off the fuel if it senses an accident. that way you arent continuously leaking fuel if something got cut or broken open. leaking fuel is all bad, and a potential fire hazard. however, sometimes if your vehicle thinks you got in an accident it will shut off your fuel and you have to manually turn it back on

^^ my '99 had a manual switch... I'm assuming the Grab-Her does too but I haven't found it (and haven't looked).
I know what good it is for an accident but why shut if off if he's pulled over on the freeway?? Or are you thinking it shut itself off and you wanna turn it back on??

i'm pretty sure ours is in the acess panel on the pasenger side.

yeah marie our's are on the pass. side firewall next the SJB,,if you look under there ya cant miss it. i accidentially found mine when i was doin my OHC.
