Just curious. made in USA?

I didn't have any luck searching....
I was wondering, how much of my 08 Ford Ranger is actually "Made in USA'? Does anyone have a guess?
Oh, and it's a V6, 4x4, auto. with extended cab.

it was assembled in the twin citys, the only production line still making north American rangers in 08. doesnt mean the parts arent from mexico or other places though. duratec's are assembled in michigan, 3.0's are assembled in ohio. 4.0's are cologne motors but i have no idea if they still go through the trouble of making them there and shipping them here.

The door sticker on my '02 just says "Made In USA" doesn't give a breakdown for which parts were made elsewhere.

The reason for the original post was because I read somewhere that the 4.0 block was made in Germany like ES894x4 said above. Made me wonder just how much is really USA. I also suspect a number of parts came from below the border but maybe some from Canada. In any case, I guess we really own a hybrid!!

all cars are hybrids....as for the 4.0L from germany they could have stock piled a couple motors knowing that the NA ranger was gonna be done soon.

i wondered this too when i got mine. my uncle and i were arguing about his honda minivan. it's more domestic then my truck is once you factor in where all the 2nd and 3rd tier plants are located.
