I'll say this... Last week spent over $3,400 on parts for a solid axle swap...

Let alone the price of the RCD, 2 sets of wheels, 2 sets of tires, tranny swap, lights, add-ons, etc... Though I did get a lot of good deals on thing... I estimated before the SAS pricing, I was into my truck about $18,000... Kinda sad when you take a step back and think about it lol

6600 for the truck
550 for tax/cert/plates etc.
150 for all new brakes
600ish for winter wheels/tires/mounting and balancing

7900 so far

In a week:
150 for tune up
100 for frame paint
80 for wheel bearings

In the spring:
transmission service
differential fluid change
3.0L cam position sensor thing
whatever other maintenance I can think of

I'm in...
Truck - 13900
Superlift - 500
Driveshaft - 250
Wheels - 500
Tires - 850

Probably about 2000 for the rest of the little stuff here and there...

I've got to be somewhere in the 18,000 range.

it wouldnt even be a fair guess really. I can tell you that I have spent rough amounts on certain projects...

4k in a week on just fixing it one time
5k in a SAS (D30)
5k+ in a D44 and D60 switch
3k Front D60
1500 for a junk navigator
8k+ in 5.4L which isnt even done. Expected to spend somewhere north of 10

I never included my first front coilover setup, Superlift, Bed swap, Supercharged 4.0L, rebuilt 5r55e, 2 transfer cases, 3 rear driveshafts, explorer 8.8, painted hood and tailgate, interior swap, air horns, 3-4 different wheel and tire setups, the list goes on.

So you do the math. If you really figure what RF has done to me, Figure a purchase in a f150 then a F250 to support the hobby, then all the issues with the F250 its a lot.

Now im going to go cry in the corner

No but they work well!
That is just how it goes, buying mud tires in a 35x12.50r18 size. Probably switch to 17s next but even then the tires are only a couple hundred less.
