Keypad keyless entry
Did Underdog Performance stop selling these? I couldnt find them on their website, and if so does anyone else sell them?
|
I dont know the answer to your question, but I LOVE mine. I use it every single day and it is priceless for times like rafting and riding when you dont want to take your keys with you. I will never own another vehicle without the keypad entry.
|
I keep my spare FOB hidden in my toolbox but its just too much of a pita to get to everytime lol. Is yours factory?
|
I thought I saw a thread about Underdog Performance not being in business due to a family tragedy.... of course I don't know them and I don't know the details... I also could be just 100% wrong and thinking of something else. lol

OP your best bet is to PM 'underdog' on here. He is the owner of Underdog Performance and will be able to help you out directly.

that ebay listing has some wiring that needs to be done.
Eric, I got your e-mail (to underdog). I think I have one left. I'll respond to your e-mail tonight when I have it in my hands. |

Sorry I posted the wrong one. I would buy from Graniteguy before I bought one off eBay.

As long as he still has it I am defenitly going to buy it. Just seems better to not have to wire it in.
|
yep very simple to install and setup..and damn convenient!!! i got mine from the dealership.. i think it was 100 bucks or so...
|
How do you go about programming it? Just curious
|
something like- turn key to accessory, turn headlight on off on off, then hit a button on the keypad.
Thats not exactly it, but you get the idea. Its the exact same way you program a key fob. When you do it, you must redo the stock keyfobs at the same time. This unit is basically a keyfob with a security code instead of a button. You can mount it anywhere in range. It doesn;t have to go on the door. It doesn;t have to be mounted. You could technically throw it in your toolbox. the benefit of getting it at the dealer is they will usually program it for no additional cost. You must have power locks for it to work. |
Keypad entry?
