Lapis Blue Touch-Up Stick??
Went to the local Advance Auto Parts store today to buy a touch-up stick of Lapis Blue Metallic (code KE) for my '96 2.3. It's not even listed in their Dupli-Color book! Can I get this item at my local Ford dealership, or do I have to look elsewhere?

I have the same color on my 94 an any touch up brush/stick will look 10 shades darker. The only match I found was when it was sprayed. It's an odd color to get to match for some reason. O riley's will make you a small 1 or 2 oz bottle with brush in it, but you won't be happy with it I bet. If this is the color you are talking about, it is the same code on my 94 KE |

That being the case, I looked on line and ordered a two oz. bottle from PaintScratch.com. The paint came a day or two ago, but I have yet to attempt any touch-up with it. I'll let everyone know about the match, however, when I get my lazy you-know-what in gear enough to clean and then touch up the chipped areas. |
