The 03 sounds nice, but like others have said, if you are going to be doing a lot of traffic, stick shift is going to suck.

what the hell does mileage have to do with how well the guy maintained it???

I'd choose whether you want an auto or manual to make this descision and of course by seeing/driving them both

I agree. The 02-03 twin stick trucks are the most desirable Rangers there are. There is a reason why that truck is 3 yrs older and commands a value higher than the 06. Even though I have a complete twin stick setup out of an 02 in my truck I often think about selling my 04 just to have a true Lvl II twin stick truck which would be an 03 only. Anyone that knows Rangers would walk right past that 06 in order to drool all over that 03.

I know everyone loves orgasming over the twin stick Rangers, but big deal. They both go into 4wd. Torsen is nice, but you can get Powertrax No Slip and have one up on it. Auto vs. Manual, that's personal preference. I went with auto for the rated towing capacity, and haven't blown it up with all the heavy towing I do.

I would have a hard time buying a 7 year old ranger for 13k.
