steelies yes... soft 8's or D window style...

good for cheap best suited for wheeling because they wont explode when hit on a rock like alum wheels.. but for street driving ....

sorry guys and you know it if you own them

they SUCK... they weight a butt load, alot of rotating mass, they dont balance up for crap, usually 90% of the time are egg shape.....

and yes i have owned them so no one be all like "oh you dont have them you dont know" crap... check that at the door...

best thing IMO i ever did was sell them...

now on a dedicated wheeling rig.. i will have nothing but steelies every time...

for specific prices....check out 4wheelparts.com.

soft 8's and the D window (daytona) style ones are like $50 ea. The fake lock daytonas are like $100 ea or something like that.

those are D window fake beadlocks that hold water inside them and rust like a ***** because of those bolts...

you might not have as bad of a problem being out of the rust belt..

yes there cheap as hell and you get what you pay for..

i got mine for about 50 bucks each there cool i like em and there inexpensive i dont care for flashy rims at all. and dont really care how the ride is on the street. i never really thought much of it when i put them on at first and never noticed a noticeably difference. its a truck who cares.

my MPG cared

i have had steelies on my f-150 and my other ranger before and switched both to alum and noticed a difference.. i just dont care for steelies anymore for a daily driver

going from almost 90lb a tire/wheel to 60lb a tire/wheel it helps.. so why not and alum doesnt have to be flashy thats what black paint is for

these ones?
i haven't driven with them yet so i cant give you an answer.. on what everyone else is saying, and Casey's truck had slime in the tires so that throws all that off..

go with what you want, i'm pretty sure my tire/wheel combo weigh about the same from the aluminum wheels to the steelies.. but i didnt pay too much attention

Mine are from procomp rock crawler or something like that, but a lot of companies make identical wheels and I think cragar makes the cheapest ones. Mine were around $62 a piece (don't remember exactly, but it was in the 60's)
