honestly dude, like i said, the best way you could do it, is to cut your doors up, trace them out onto cardboard with a sharpie or m44 or something, then measure that, add a 10% oh **** factor... it's all going to depend on your design... no one can tell you what you need, because if you do it even slightly different, it's not going to add up...

as for a place to buy it, go in the yellow pages under metal fabrication, just start calling places and ask them A) if they sell bare metal (so you aren't calling an actual fabrication shop, the name will probably help, the place i went was called assorted metals, they charged me $0.99 per pound... which i'm sure was less than he was supposed to...

yea, you're not gonna know how much you'll need until you actually figure out how you want to build it..

Autocad is perfect man. Do it up on there and add 10% to 15% extra pipe for the project and whatever you think you'll need on top of that to practice. If you decide to bring it to a shop to do, a dimensioned autocad drawing will give them everything they need to fab them for you. Also, if you can find somewhere local to buy the pipe, bring the sketch in there and they'd probably be happy to help figure out what you need...plus you'd have somewhere to go back to quick if you ended up needing more etc.
