Icon5 Superchips Flaspaq Question

I'm thinking about buying the Superchips Flashpaq 1865 tuner. Can you tell me if you like it and have you noticed and big gains? Is it easy to use? Does your mpgs drop any on performance?

Thanks
Mark

Was it easy to use? I plan on running there performance tune and not tweaking anything. IMO it'll cause me more trouble. I can program the truck to realize im running 265's right?

I've used it and a Diablosport Predator. Personally I like the Predator better but that's more because I got it for a much better price!

interesting...that may have been a dumb question. this was the second time i bought tires and i just told my friend who works at town fair to throw on some new tires and this was the result.
and to add to the thread. i was going to do the superchips too but i finally got a email back from sct and he said SCT had better support and when superchips and SCT split most of the customers went to SCT. and its about the same price.

Doesnt work on the 04's. My buddy does tunes for Diablo tuning up here. He could make me a custom chip for $100 but I'm still not sure.

I've liked mine, mainly to change my speedo back for bigger tires and different gear ratio. I've only ran it in performance. It is not crazy but you can tell it has a little more power on the highway.

its a good tuner for the price and does add some power in some places, towing tune works nice, improves the shift points for sure

Good to hear, I just bought a 2010 FX sho waver runner. I know it doesnt weigh much but still anything helps the 4L. It'll prolly always stay on performance.

Not sure how it cracked but the ATF was milky pink an the coolant has ATF floating in it. No engine damage at all just full trans. The actual bell housing and case cracked. I have tons of pics.

Sounds pretty normal haha. I like the superchips just for the ease of programming. But its a toss up for the price unless you need it for its very useful calibration features
