Basically nothing worthwhile unless it's an 02-03 manual transmission model. It's really just an appearance package. Black interior, stainless tow hooks, Alcoa wheels, 31" tires, Torsen differential, and some other worthless junk.
The 02-03 Level II's that were equipped with manual transmissions were also equipped with a manual transfer case. They also had shiny shifters. They were the only worthwhile Level II Rangers.

Edited my original post, I always assumed them to just be an upgraded version of the clutch type L/S units in the regular Rangers. My mistake.Originally Posted by V8 Level II
There is no clutch pack in a Torsen. It's a geared limited slip differential.

Those were the special options that no other Ranger package came with. Things like #1 code torsion bars and color matched grilles were standard on the Level II, however they were available on other Ranger packages as well so I won't list them.
Along with the 31 spline axle shafts, the Level II 8.8 also got the larger axle tubes and larger bearings from the South American commercial Ranger. So, in effect, the Level II has the equivalent of a narrowed F150 axle assembly refitted with a Torsen LSD.
The 8.8 LII axle assembly has a 3600 lb Gross Axle Weight Rating. Other U.S. Rangers from the same era were rated at 2750 (7.5) and 2850 (8.8).

this thread has me excited to get home and find out if the axle I bought is a level II with a torsen or not. I know it's a 4.10 with a limited slip.
