Hey guys, and girls, i have a 1986 ranger 4x4 lil bigfoot. I got it in 2003.
i am not sure how authentic it is. Can someone please help me figure it out?
its black, 4x4 and graphics say "LIL BIGFOOT" on bottom of doors.
if anyone can help, i would appreciate it.
let me know what you need: VIN, color, engine, wheelbase, etc...
I've only seen photos of one, and it was brown. Back in the 80's, dealers were doing crazy things to try to sell trucks. They would add graphics and sometimes other appearance items and give these appearance packages a special name like "Colorado Edition" or "Texas Lariat". These packages were always regional and were only offered in a small area or at one specific dealer. They were not offered by Ford, and therefore they're not exactly rare or highly sought after trucks.
The only officially licensed Bigfoot anything was the Bigfoot Cruiser, which came in 1987. It was offered by Ford to celebrate their partnership with the Bigfoot monster truck team.
Thank you for the info.
yould you be willing to look at photos and the VIN just to verify?
sorry if i seem skeptical but i just want to be sure.
ive had it since 2003.
Just tossing this out there but those graphics look coincidentally similar to those of the "Lil bigfoot" campers of the same era. Could have been thrown on at an RV dealer...
