A little LIFT help if you please !!!!

So I'm new to the truck life.. My 98 Ranger 2wd has a 2" lift from the previous owner. The other day I experienced some terrible grinding noises and found that the rear lift blocks were crushed at the front end which had allowed my rear end to roll forward changing the angle of my driveshaft.

My question is ... can I remove the damaged blocks ( which are made only of square stock ) and drive it that way untill my new ones arrive

thanks

Ric

Yes. But you will sit way low. The best thing to do may be to get an OEM 4x4 rear block. It's about 2 1/4 inch.

Dropped the rear axle today , pulled out the damaged blocks and re-assembled. The ride is much better. Just waiting for the new blocks and U bolts to arrive .

Thanks for the help

Ric
