Do you ever get a tank of gas.....

... that seems like it just keeps going and going? I ask because, my routine is the same week in and week out- 90% highway driving and 10% city. Usually I'll get a/b 305 mi. to a tank of gas. Then, every once in a while, without changing my routine, I'll fill up a tank and get 340+ miles without doing anything different. It's weird but I love it.

Every now and then that happens, but I think this time I got some gas w/a ton of ethanol in it because I am about half tank w/ only125 miles on the trip. Normally I get a little over 300 to a tank.

This tank looks promising.

Last tank was 15.5, and I made it to 60 miles on a quarter tank. This one so far has gone to 110, and I still am not at quarter of a tank (close, but not quite there).

We'll see what it is soon. I'd be happy to have my 19 back, LOL!

I barely got 210 miles out of my last tank on the highway driving 75-80mph into a head wind, with 4 deer in bed and the tank before that I barely got to 180 but that was all 4x4 and below 25 mph in snow/ice/mud....

i get roughly 230-280 and thats running it as low as it can go, i have a 16 gal tank and i usually fit 17-18 gallons into it. and i wish i got a tank where i could hit 310 that would be sweet. though i just had my fan clutch go and its killed my mileage i'm getting like 10-12mpg got a new one toady just don't have the right size of wrench to install it. and ive been averaging 14mpg normally

And you guys give the 3.0 such crap. I consistently get 18-19 in CITY on 32's. Lots of stop and go. I work at domino's as a driver. So 95% of my driving is only city.

I get barely over 13mpg. Usually just a lil over 200 to a tank and I am stock. 95% city driving too.

There are several things that can effect it. Number one would be the fill level. Your technique in filling can vary. Also, ambient temps effect it. I've noticed that I get my best mileage when temps are in the 55-75F area. Above and below that and it drops.

Coming home from out of state last week I got 21.4mpg running 93 shell and temps were in the mid 60s.
