lol wtf

i dont have a better idea of what to name this thread.

i walk out to my truck a bit ago, and i see that the hella's mounted on the front are on. im like ???

okay, maybe i hit the switch with my knee or something on the way out of the truck, its to the left of the steering wheel, down a little bit though.

well, i check the switch, and it was in the OFF position.

idk what the deal is, they were off by the time i started the truck and went and looked again to see if they were on.

i took the relay out for now, so they aren't getting any power.

rangerboy101 Feb 10, 2009 06:18 PM

sniper_101 Feb 10, 2009 06:20 PM

crazymikey Feb 10, 2009 06:20 PM

Either that or Gremlins.

They work well together...little buggers.

Trigger01 Feb 10, 2009 06:29 PM

Tys 4x4 FTW Feb 10, 2009 06:38 PM

but really though, i found it extremely wierd considering i havent turned them on at all lately or anything.

crazymikey Feb 10, 2009 06:41 PM

Maybe you have an Electrical Leak.

TheStig88 Feb 10, 2009 06:42 PM

might need to change your headlight fluid...

crazymikey Feb 10, 2009 08:01 PM

No,that wouldn't be the problem.

Downey Feb 10, 2009 08:05 PM

grease the switch duhhh come on guys you should of know that

goliath553 Feb 10, 2009 09:13 PM

Are you sure they were on in the first place? I'm just saying... sometimes I think i see things that aren't really there.

big-blue-oval Feb 10, 2009 09:15 PM

underpants gnomes!

change the relay, and upgrade the amperage if not adequate.

Tys 4x4 FTW Feb 10, 2009 09:22 PM

they really were on. i had two roommates with me who also saw it lol

Trigger01 Feb 10, 2009 09:26 PM

Were you three drinking? I'd replace the relay first and go from there.

herm59 Feb 11, 2009 08:39 AM

You need to set a trap up for the Gnomes so they don't get anybody elses truck. Then replace the relay.

Sea-Bass Feb 11, 2009 08:43 AM

Good call! Everyone else blames Bush for their problems and the country's problems, maybe he should jump on the bandwagon!

Melt Feb 11, 2009 05:53 PM

chalk up another vote for the gnomes.

Jeff Meyer Feb 11, 2009 07:02 PM

maybe your lights just aren't getting enough exercise, so they light themselves every now and then... you know just to keep the juices flowing.
heh heh heh

RockysFord Feb 11, 2009 08:21 PM

My boss had his jeep in the shop the other day (imagine that... i wouldnt understand) And we were talking about his KC daylighters (that i gave him off my ranger when i got rid of it)

And all of the sudden they turned on... just sitting there talking about them and they turned on... freaked us out... his relay had water in it... shorted out...
