Icon2 Lift points for Ford Ranger? Using a two post lift?

Sorry this may sound like a silly question, but I have yet to lift my truck using any type of lift yet.. my cars I know where to put the pads to life the vehicle in the air... with the truck through where would I put the pads to lift the truck in the air? Any one have any pictures or anything like that.

I'm trying to get the spacing correct for my MaxJax midlift and don't want to anchor anything down until I'm 100% certain that where I place the posts are correct and that the positioning will lift the truck.

2001 Ford Ranger XLT, single cab 2.4l rwd.

Here's a pic with my car trying to get the position correct.

Does anyone have actual pictures of where to put the pads for a two post lift on the underside of the truck?

Thanks,
-Nigel

At work on our lifts, I put the front pads on the frame right behind the torsion bar crossmember or on the crossmember and use truck adapters for the rear on the front leaf spring mount.

^ That sounds about right. Been a while since I looked at a Ranger but I think there's lifting bracket sort of things on the front part of the frame behind the front wheels.

Theres a bracket on the front you can lift from. Should be on the outside of the frame near the cab mount.
Thats a pretty suitable place for the front.

As for the back. I lift either at the Bend in the frame that goes up to the bed, or from the front spring perch.

I usually set the front on the bracket and rear on leaf spring perch also.
