Looking for the best salvage yard with the largest inventory of wrecked Rangers

Hey guys,

I'm looking for the best salvage yard with the largest inventory of wrecked Rangers on the East coast. I need a 2004 or 2005 4.0 SOHC with an automatic transmission and everything that makes this engine run like the ECM and wiring harness.
I would really like to just go to one place and get everything so I can get some kind of package deal and so I won't have to piece everything together.
I could end up spending $2000 if I went to 5 different companies to get all these parts.
I know the best thing to do would be to find a doner Ranger, but a 2004 doner Ranger is $2800 to $3800 and my budget is $1700. If anyone on here owns a salvage yard or knows of one that'll work with me, please let me know. There's a $50 finders fee for anyone that can put me in contact with a salvard yard that has all the parts I need.

Thanks in advance,

Brian

I'm bustin at the seams, I found a 2004 red Ranger XLT 4X4 extended cab with a 5-speed manual transmission with only 42K miles on it. There's no frame damage because it was just rolled. I've never owned a 4X4 Ranger before but I might keep the 4X4 as the main truck. I'm thinkin about swappin the cabs and the front clips out instead of swappin the engines and the transmissions out.
Does anyone have any suggestions?

I didn't even call them, because the price of the engine harness kinda scared me ... lol but I appreciate the leads.
Do you think I should go to a 4X4 or keep my truck as a 2WD?

idk depends what youre doing with the truck

if you search on that website i linked there are many more, it just searches all the junkyards for you. I dont live where you do so I dont know the area and what you think would be too far of a drive, so youd be better off searching yourself

I don't really need a 4X4, because I don't do much off roading and we don't get much snow in these parts but I do like the ride heighth of a 4X4. (If anyone would like to convert their
2WD Ranger Edge to a 4X4 let me know)
I guess you didn't read my previous post. I bought a whole doner truck that's a 4X4. But I guess you were right in the past tense ... lol
I was better of seaching for myself.

i'd do the 4x4 swap if you have the time and desire to do it, why not.

Are you telling me that I should do the 4X4 swap or are you interested in my 4X4 parts? (I don't think you want my 4X4 parts because you already have a 4X4 ...lol)
If I do the swap, I don't have to remove any 4X4 parts, because I'm using the 4X4 frame. I will need to change the radio bezel out for the 4X4 switch.
Was a torsion bar frame even available on a 2WD Ranger before the Ranger Edge?

lol i must have read that you wanted to make your current truck a 4x4. I just saw "rollover" and figured the 4x4's frame was tweaked haha but no, no other 2wd rangers aside edge had tbars
