i think it isnt a wise idea to get any of those listed.

is your ranger 100% paid for?

since oyu live in GA, i would be all over a car, why in the heck would you need two gas guzzlers? just seems stupid.

ive never seen you hook up a trailer or talk about.
ive never seen you haul anything in your bed.

and you have been wheeling what twice?

not trying to be mean but i think you need to put this into perspective a little more.

like said before, you already have a truck and a 4x4 in one.....and since you live in Georgia and dont get any snow in the winter, you should get a car for fuel economy. you have a truck already if you need to haul something you can.........

i bought a car and dont regret it 1 bit! it gets 30 mpg and saves me almost $200 a month in fuel.......

for the price limit you set you can find a REALLY nice, newer car with EXTREMELY low milage for what you cold pay for a truck

and if it were a diesel for that price the engine would be about shot! a diesel 4x4 ext cab with less than 100,000 miles on it, you will pay around $20,000 for it....

I would get something cheaper.......you said it wouldn't be a DD since you drive a work truck.......that way you would have more money for your ranger. Why dont you get another ranger? 2wd......4 cyl. Mine gets good gas mileage when Im not even trying (21-22mpg), it will get up and go pretty good (0-60 in about 9-10 seconds).

Just a thought is all.
Like i said before.....

yup, get a honda or something that has potential if you get a bug up your butt to do something to it and if not it still gets good gas mileage and you can pick up a used prelude or something for the 14K here is a civic in GA

Get a Corolla or a Camry, 4 doors, very reliable, cheap, good gas( even though you dont care)

For your price range, you could get a lot newer Corolla and maybe even still have some warranty. Also full coverage of insurance would be very low on a cheaper 4 door sedan.

I'm still a bit confused....how long exactly does it take to install the upgrades on your truck? Does it justify BUYING a whole other truck while you're waiting for it to be done?

Why not get a rental?

well the guy tried to screw me on the buy so i say **** it i will just drive the work truck until the truck is done....the truck is going to be down from about mid feb until like may or so...iam using 90% of my tax returns to get most if not all of my sas parts and then i got a few other things iam going to upgrade/fix..
