Looking to put a Magnaflow dual exhaust on my 2011 Ranger XLT

Seriously thinking about a dual exhaust for my 2011 XLT Ranger 4.0 L. Has anyone one done this with good results? If yes which brand?

Thanks...Andrew

I have the SS muffler in stock pipe size on my Ranger. Sounds very good and not very loud!

I have the magnaflow kit as well. It sounds good, but be warned if you have a trailer hitch there can be clearance issues with where the pipes exit.

thanks Frosty...I have a trailer hitch...I'll have to check out the clearance. I had a '97 F-150 (4.6 V8, dual) where the exhaust exited just in front of the rear wheels. Not sure if that still "legal"; in my "***" state...

Thanks for the reply...

Magnaflow

I have a 2005 3.0L, I put a Stainless Steel Dual Exhaust Magnaflow system on, right after I purchased the truck new and I love it. Nice deep throaty tone without sounding to loud or cheap like a rice burner. Spend your money, you won't be disappointed.

any exit after the cab is legal here in mass. I got my exhaust done at a custom exhaust place because I want functionality, not "flashyness". I have a flowmaster 50 tucked up fairly high and exits over the rear axle pointing down (good for trail riding). you can't even see it from behind the truck, which is what i wanted.

Magnaflow and gibson make nice kits that bolt on for our trucks and they sound good.

Thanks all for your inputs. I going with the magnaflow Cat-Back exhaust (P/N 15773) Its stainless steel and the only modifacation I'll make is to have it welded.

Thanks again...HD

Good choice. You'll enjoy it.

I've been through a dozen exhaust setups. I experimented with different looks and mufflers.

Right now I have a flowmaster super 10 under my truck dumped before the rear axle. You cant see it at all, mainly because im done with the "looks" phase.

Sport vs. XLT

I have a 2011 ranger sport 4.0. What is the difference between XLT and Sport, as I too am looking for a dual exhaust system but I am unable to find one for "sport" model.
