I rember a while back I think it was Shane posted up pics of a truck that had a set of tail lights that were the 99-00 housing but the top and bottom sections were clear. The only red was the middle part for the running/brake light. I wanna say that Shane called them the TYC tails but im not sure. If anyone has the pics/link to the thread/any information on them please post them in here.

 

i think theyre SUPER rare. i know of some "trailhead" ones but theyre red on the top and bottom and clear in the middle

 

VERY RARE indeed.....TYC brand...and there's only a handful of folks that've run 'em. Supposedly Stone has like 5 sets of them? I know I have Swoops old set, and that butthead Justie took a set that I wanted. lol.

'00 was the only year and no they aren't factory tails on anything. Strictly aftermarket.

 

 

Man those look awesome. How are the bulbs ran? Is the center still the brake light or is it the reverse now that only the center is clear?

there's a guy over at like RPS who just put on lowering keys on his reg cab '00 trailhead....has these tails on it....he posted tons of pics.
