Looking for Stock Wheels

Hello,
I just picked up a 2011 single cab, 2.3L Ranger. Originally came with 15's from the factory but this one has 16's. I'd like to find stock 2011 16" Y spoke cast aluminum wheels which was optional on the 4 door Super Cab 4x4 only.

Any suggestions? Anyone? ..... Bueller?

Thanks for any help!

There are wheel rebuilders who basically refinish the wheels and repaint them. The return the metal finishes they look new when done. I cant remember who does this but there are several of them about $130 each but look like new when done. You will probably have to buy new caps though. I was looking at the same thing as I wanted a stock look.

Thanks for your reply. Luckily I kept reading the forums on this topic and come to find out I can’t put those wheels on my truck. For some reason the sizing is different. I can’t find the general discussion where this guy had tried the same exact thing. He said the real wheels fit fine in the back but not the front. So I’m a little disappointed because I was going for a certain look.

Thats too bad. The offset is probably different. I am not aware of the bolt pattern being different. With a little bit of internet search you can find the factory offset and bolt pattern. if you go to buy after market wheels you need to know those values.

The Alcoa whee came on the rare Level 2 ranger 4x4 pickup with Torsen ( gear type posi) I think they were built about 2002 or so. I woudl think caps would be availible from the dealer. most of the Ranger caps just press on to the factory lug nuts so you kind of have your choice. There are some that stand out more and some that are flatter. I think the original ones may have been the flatter (not as deep) type. I kind of like the deeper style that are more common towards the later Rangers and Explorers.

Have you looked around at parts trucks? I picked up a older fx4 like my truck for cheap cause the frame is damaged. Has the nice factory wheels too

check out this site.
https://www.therangerstation.com/how-to/wheels_and_brakes/ford-ranger-wheel-fitment-guide/

has a bit of infor on back spacing etc.
"Center Bore (Hole):

The center bore is the diameter of the hole in the middle of the wheel (see diagram at top of page). You may find a rim with the proper backspacing and wheel bolt pattern, but the center bore may be too small. In this case, the wheel will not fit over the center hub of the axle. This can be fixed by some machine shops that can cut the hole out larger.

Wheels on a 1998+ 4×4 Ranger will not fit the front of a 1983-1997 4×4 Ranger. The center hole is too small for the locking hub to pass through.

Likewise, any 4×4 wheel specifically designed for the newer, flat front hubs (without a hub lock) will not fit the front hubs of any 2×4 ranger. It’s theoretically possible to put torsion bar 4×4 hub/spindles on a 2×4 Ranger, they use the same calipers and ball joints though this would be a lot of effort. ~ Sean Votier"
