Not sure if anybody has done something like this but, I've been thinking lately what I'd want if I were to get another Ranger. And thought I'd see what you guys would want as well. So What would you want? List the mods you would do to it, post pics of exactly what you'd be looking for. Let's see what kind of creations we all come up with.

Alright starting with me:

I'd want a 2006+ Ford Ranger STX Regular cab, Color - White. 5-speed with Cruise Control.


Mods:
03-04 SVT Cobra wheels wrapped in Eagle GT's as pictured below
2/3 drop
Cherry bomb exhaust, high flow cats, Headers
Drop in K&N
OHC
Lighted Visors
Kenwood DDX5034 with Nav.
Kenwood door speakers
10" kenwood Sub
FX4 lvl 2 boot shifter and **** for the factory look.
6k heads, and 3k fogs
Bilstein shocks
20% tint

 

02-03 FX4, probably in red or blue.

Next ranger that I am already casually looking for (I have a buick in storage, and now I want a track car, so I mean casually) in a perfect world would be a 86-88 ext. cab 4x2 that is clean and all original. Preferably blue, and looks like my first ranger (see pic). The plan would be to clean it up, mount better seats (I think Level II seat might be able to work, but I think the head room is lacking in a first gen), then I want to find an old 98-current 4x2 ranger frame and chassis, mostly to get rid of the Twin I beams, mount the 88 body on it, then mount a 6.0 LQ4 with a T-56, have My buddy Todd at Track time Motorsports wire it up for me so it looks original, then I want to upgrade the front suspension and brakes (Todd will build me a one off Wilwood setup as he is a wilwood dealer). Then eventually install either a hour link rear or if I get really ambitious, an IRS setup. This is a long term dream, but my first car was a ranger, and I think it would be neat to have the best body with the best drivetrain, with the best suspension.

Now my goal is to have a sweet totally custom ranger that looks stock, and everything works like it is suppose to. If I can't do it that way I won't do it.

2wd Sonic blue standard cab stepside, 4.0 SOHC supercharged, 5 spd, lowered 5/7 on 18" Boss 338's, Roll pan, powerdome hood etc.

 

A 02-03 Twin-Stick'd truck (obviously a 4x4 with a 4.0 manual tranny for you people who live under a rock), but with a custom M-90 supercharged 5.0 swapped in, boxed in frame, frame sprayed for corrosion protection, custom skid plates, custom front tube bumper, custom rear tube bumper and tailgate (with spare tire attachment) in one, SAS, 4:56s, 35x12.5x15 Cooper STTs on D-Windows that are Line-X'd, painted Canary Yellow ('94 Mustang GT color) with Line X'd rockers, black halo 1 piece headlights, limo tint all the way around, custom LED niteshaded 06+ tails, RECON Line of Fire, custom Magnaflow exiting in front of right rear tire, FX4 Leather Buckets, decent sound system with a touch screen double din, and my girlfriend sittin' shotgun.

Oh, AND a working A/C so she can quit her *****in' haha

 

honestly my next ranger will prolly be 2wd reg cab, 4 banger with a 5 speed, Vista blue, and a 4/5 drop. And then I shall park it next to my current ranger.

 

either another b2500, b2300, or stx

single cab, 5speed, 4/5 drop, bullit wheels, roll pan, powerdome, 4.0 and 4.10's, 4x4 front sway bar, b2 rear sway bar, hurst, 10" sub, alpine deck, bucket seats

Another 2001 Edge. Vermillion Red, Steppie, Vinyl Floor, Tan interior. I'd even set it up like mine now. 6" lift with 33"'s!

 

Black 2003 FX4 Level II Twin Sticks Styleside with less than 50k. Completely updated to to be like a 09-10 on the inside. Center console, black leather seats, steering wheel. Plus some 06+ stuff on the outside. Mirrors, tailgate, emblems. 04-05 valence and foglights. Cause square is better lol. Maybe a roll bar with lights. Westin bull bars with lights. T-bar crank with 32s or 33s. Charcoal Alcoas. Frame sandblasted and painted. Supercharged 5.0 obviously, completely rebuilt 5.0, aluminum and the works. Traction bars. L/S front diff.

5.7L F-150 Raptor. Red and black baby.
