Last week I paid $2.30 for Regular at a Texaco (one of the lower priced stations in my area) and yesterday a friend found an ARCO station 2 miles from my house selling Regular for $2.19.
In San Diego... those are GREAT prices...
Now if they can just drop below $2.00 and stay there !!!!

OR 4x4

Cheapest around here is $1.79 for 87. The lower prices are good, but it still doesn't compare to the $0.98 a gallon I paid back in 1998, I'd be happy as hell if it went back down to that.

I still say gas prices are too high, especially with natural gas doubled in price. between the $500-$1200 to heat your house this winter and $2.20-$2.80 a gallon for gasoline, this country's economy is not going to pick up any time soon, and those of you who say "choice" you dont have a choice.

Not sure how canadian prices are compared to you guys but you are talking in gallons right? Here we pay 92.9 cents per litter.. one U.S. gallon is 3.8Liters so I guess it would be 2.78 a gallon down here and thats cheap compared to what it was. You guys actually have it pretty good.

$1.99 here. I wouldn't mind if it stayed like that. Actually, I'd mind even less if it went down some more...:D
