That would probably kill his tranny first. If I get stuck I just shift into 4wd.

I try not to race my truck as much. Mostly because I'm trying to save gas but also because it's slow. Every now and then I do get my foot into it to show a cool guy what's up.

I love them. I wish I never sold mine. Mine was actually fast though since I was out of my ricer stage when I owned it.

I never had one in my '93 and everyone was afraid to drive it, haha. Just about everyone is afraid to drive a manual these days anyways :(

Hmm i really dont know what the excuse or reason was.. We only ran to around 90mph cause well we were in a 40.. no point in pushing it.. but yeah i didnt beat him by car lengths.. he was next to me but i was a half a car length on him all race and he even started better cause i purposely burned em on start.

Exactly. My dad didn't want me to get a manual, but he found my '93 at a dealership and was like "oh well, you're getting it". It took about 3 days to learn how to drive it and then I was set.

I've taught 3-4 people at least how to drive manual. In emergencies you never know what vehicle you're going to have to drive.

What year was your P71? I had a '99 that car was pretty fast. Nothing is more fun than flying up on someones house in an all black unmarked police car Had to sell the car cause wife cant drive RWD or stick (why I had to get rid of my first Ranger)

Haha yeah. I don't think it'd do too much damage to the clutch, as long as they aren't riding it too long or just dropping it. I teach them correctly, lol.
