I personally will most likely be goin with Bilsteins, but Pro Comp makes good shocks as well.

You cant really blame the company. It's all about the kind of shocks you buy. Some are stiff, some are loose. I prefer stiff myself for better handling

Yes, which kind? I recently put on a set of the RSX's in the front of my rig. They're stiff, but are softer on the med/large bumps in the road. They ride nicer than the stock ones. Also they make the truck handle better, less body roll.

It would be a good idea to give more details about the SPECIFIC product you're bashing instead of a general company. Please?

chris, the ranchos on your truck are not REALLY ranchos, more like ford shocks with a rancho sticker and red boots. same thing for the Level II Bilstiens. ford likes to make deals with the big companies so they can market them to SELL. they are still better than the entry level stockers, but not the same as what you buy from Rancho or Bilstien
