Maximum Speed of Your Ranger

What is the maximum speed of your ranger?

The other day I had some open road and found out the top speed of my ranger I had my SCT on the lowest setting 87 octane and got to 118 mph I'm guess on 91 octane I can get to ~120 -124. I was on my stock wheels and tires 31x10.5.

Disclaimer, I am not suggesting any one to try this. Top speed should be done at a track.

ive been to 112 on 35s and 4.56s not sure if that was the limit or not. but it was fast enough.

fx4me 09-13-2006 01:38 PM

Mine goes a speedy 92 mph. I've worked hard to get where I am.

gatorblue92 09-13-2006 01:38 PM

i have never been over 90 in my truck

Big04Ranger 09-13-2006 01:43 PM

when i had my 35s and 4.56 i ran it up to 128 on 465 (3 lane interstate)

RangerBoy03FX4 09-13-2006 01:44 PM

i got to about 116-117 on mine. probably wont do it again. scary stuff right there. if i want to go fast ill finish building my 92 camaro.

fletch12518 09-13-2006 01:50 PM

Gearhead61 09-13-2006 01:59 PM

Mr. Special 09-13-2006 02:01 PM

woo Governor!!!

but its such a rare occation when I even hit that. Tho i'd only go faster if i was either lowered or stock xlt height or below :sleeping1

barrman 09-13-2006 02:07 PM

112 mph on the 8 west, and i let off ;o)

anthony84_2004 09-13-2006 02:12 PM

92 blazing governed mph.

BRENSRANGER 09-13-2006 02:20 PM

i hit 105mph my needle was at the overdrive mark, since it only goes to 85...lol

Cape Fear 09-13-2006 02:27 PM

Limiter plus a couple mph since my truck thinks its going slower than it really is.

dixieranger44 09-13-2006 02:31 PM

on my 93 3.0 auto, ive past the 85 mark all the way down to the N in the gear selector. then the governor kicks in

Roach2004 09-13-2006 02:42 PM
