After getting a ticket for 116 MPH in a 70 zone several years ago I keep the speeds down. Think the fastest I've had it to is 85-90 while passing.

I have gone to 92 more than a few times, but stoped there because of the stupid gov., but I have been to tripple digets a time or two in other rides.

When I had the 35's & 3.55's, my speedo said 92, but I was side by side w. a Silverado on I-95 & he was rolling at 100 even.

Dang, I go indicated 80mph...it's like 94 or something...stock tires I was hitting the governer though.

Same as other said, I didn't buy a truck to go fast. I was going that fast on turnpike at 4am going fishing.

My truck is slow as ballz

85.7 gps confirmed. i also didn't buy this truck to go fast (ask me about my old s10 with a 350 in it lol) fastest i have ever been was 123 in my 90 olds toronado, followed by 115 in my mazda 626 (gov kicked in and i still had plenty of room on the tach)

I put 92-100 cause I have a governor, but I've been up to 110 with the help of a hil and the wind at my back on a very long stretch of empty (well sort of) highway. I've been 150 in my buddy's Z28 Camaro. Scary stuff and you can definitely smell the fuel burning.

i've hit the gov. a couple times, and it always sucked.... i'd be going along with some traffic... then my truck would decide "ok that's good enough" and cut me off... it's really an annoyance on long journeys when you're on long wide open roads forever, but oh well.
