Well today I picked up some Explorer Leafs for cheap ($94.06) and decided to try em . It was an easy instal considering my suspension is 10 yo everything came out simple (to my suprise) although a second pair of hands would be usefull . I forgoed taking the bed off to as well , took about 1.5 hour per side cause I was taking it slow .

My old leafs were shot I mesured 29.2" inches from ground to fender ( I keep lots of stuff in bed ) so a good 1.5" of sag is from payload .Well after im sitting at 32" even with more tools back there now . It drives great more positive but not to harsh .

I also picked up a great ARE hard cover for cheap of Craigs list ($300.00 vs 1100.00 new ) even matches paint .

2" shackles , 2.5 lift coils up front , 30x9.50-R15s Maxxis Bighorns . 8.8 31 spline rear end , 4.10s and a Eaton Elocker . Last but not least Mile marker PE8000 winch with quick conect for swaping front to rear on my new bumpers im fabbing later this summer .
Im tossing around the idea of 4.0 swap and SAS if I desire later on . LOL

 

The explorer 3 leaf + overload VS Ranger 2 leaf + over load .
You can tell the Explorer is more beefy and about 2 inches taller .

Well now I can drive through my ditch where I would high center before here are to whoring shots . lol



You can see the new ARE cover on the back , and heres my temp setup till I fab something up thats more permanent and better looking .
